Who We Are

Partnering to be a voice for children battling cancer.

HISTORY & BACKGROUND: The group began informally in August 2018 when one local family’s daughter completed her chemotherapy and that family reached out to other families they met on the journey to raise money for research. These families were able to organize a successful fundraiser in September 2018, reached out to more families and began the journey to become a permanent organization as they know how crucial the support is for local families and how critical is the need for more childhood cancer research.

Stomping Out Childhood Cancer was incorporated and filed as a perpetual business entity on July 8, 2019 with the State of Iowa. Effective July 18, 2019 the IRS determined Stomping Out Childhood Cancer is exempt from federal tax under Internal Revenue Code 501(c)(3) and that the organization can receive tax deductible donations.
